I hope to find you are all in a wonderful state of being.
I am excited to announce that my family is here with me in norway!
what a lovely and exciting gift! my parents will be teaching in my dts for this next week, then all of us (my parents myself and my brother and sister) will be staying here for a nice snowy christmas in norway!
by the way, the first snowy downfall came last weekend.
it was so powdery and wonderful. I feel like it made the fact that I’m living in norway a little more real, even though I have been living here for 3 months.
I have some nice things to share with you about last weeks teaching. as well as my favorite mind blowing revelation slash reminder that I got. here it is:
all of Gods characteristics are merely loving applications of his nature. for example his wisdom is a loving application of his all knowingness. (that’s cool and nutso! this blew my mind a little as I began to grasp this a bit more as heart understanding rater than just brain knowledge)
so basically, all his characteristics can go under the category of love. because who is God? God is love.
wow
God is love. and love, my friends, is a powerful thing.
peace is stemmed in love.
freedom is found in the peace in love.
strength is grown in love.
truth is spoken from love.
all good things really are rooted in love.
love is experienced through relationship. we have a relational God. a father who loves us. who CREATED us to be in relationship with him. how crazy. he cares that much!
God is the epitome of love. his love is the greatest that we could ever strive for. and the beautiful thing is that we don’t have to (strive). he gives it freely to us, unrelented and unconditionally, forever. wow. how truly blessed we really are…
*inhales deep, and sighs contentedly, then smiles*
