how it all PLAYed out. hah

dear friends, family, and strangers from around the globe that have just happened to stumble upon my blog, welcome and thank you for reading.
well, last weekend's performances of "it's a wonderful life" and "peter pan" went swimmingly, and altogether "wonderful". pun pun pun. gosh, I'm full of 'em today...
but for really, all the shows were great, and we had a full house for each one. so proud.

on monday and tuesday the civic theatre (where the peter pan play I co-directed took place) held auditions for "the diary of anne frank"

(my very favorite play in the world) and seeing how it's my favorite I couldn't help but go and audition. and glory be, this wonderful play just happens to have rolls within the age range of my brother, sister, and father (who I talked into coming and auditioning as well) how often does a family get to audition together? it was a neat experience, getting to watch and cheer on my family as they read for the parts, and seeing the annex begin to glimmer to life as each one stepped back in time, back into the lives of such inspiring people. I cannot wait to see this production!
